Each correct answer will earn your team a point, resulting in 50 points if you play a flawless game.
The fun doesn't stop there. In fact, the NYC Trivia League adds an added layer of fun with its bonus points system. Each day the top 25 teams receive extra points, with the top 10 teams earning 5 bonus points, and the following 15 gaining 3. Throughout the week, the most successful teams also earn bonus points and the top 25 receiving 10 points and the following 25 receiving 5.
To calculate your overall score in the league, we first take your score from the beginning and then adjust it according to a scale of 100 points, in consideration of the bonus points 15 which are awarded each week. In this case, a initial score of 50% points is multiplied by 85, and then bonus points are added in order to be a complete 100.
